DeMeo Vineyard

This is a 2.25-acre residential vineyard owned by Jack DeMeo, located in the Santa Rosa plain on Occidental road. The vineyard was planted by John Balleto in 1999 to Pommard clone. Spacing is 5 x 8 with a vertical trellis system. The geologic derivation is from continental sedimentary rocks composed of sandstone, shale and sedimentary deposits. The soils are Wright Series loams with heavy clay content.
